800,000 Chinese people live in NYC … Only approximately 4 % are currently Christians ...
….Many have never had a clear witness of Christ …..
About Us:
Chinatown Outreach Ministry was birthed in 1997 in Brooklyn, NY. We began by teaching Bible ESL (English as a Second Language) lessons in our home. Of the initial group 30% went on to become genuine Christians. Numerous others have received Christ from 1 to 2 years after our initial ministering to them. Since we began we have Pastored a Chinese Church, founded and directed an ESL school with 100’s of students, and ran a large after-school tutorial and summer program for kids.
We are currently moving much more into the apostolic area, ministering in our home church, with the vision of planting new churches. We distribute hundreds of Chinese Bible tracts monthly which are being eagerly taken. We have recently broadcast a Saturday evening bi-lingual Bible study on New York City’s largest Chinese radio station. Our ministry is now reaching the lives of untold thousands of people.
We are also available to do training in local churches. We currently have courses available on: evangelism, apologetics, (How to Know the Bible is True), intercessory prayer training, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and “How to find your purpose in God”.

The Need:
New York City …... a vast home mission field!
“For a great and effectual door is opened unto me and there are many adversaries" 1 Cor. 16:9.
Acts 17:26”From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. 27 God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.”
During the past decade Chinese people have poured into this area. Besides the 100,000 in Manhattan’s Chinatown there are now an additional 250,000 Chinese people in all of Brooklyn, and approximately 40 to 50 thousand in our immediate Brooklyn neighborhood. The area of 8th Avenue in Sunset Park, Brooklyn from 60th Street to 45th Street is an almost exclusively Chinese business community. During the week, but especially on Sundays, the people swarm to the shops and restaurants here. This is very similar to any big city in China. About 95% of these stores and restaurants boldly display Buddhist altars with offerings of fruit and burning incense on them.

Chinatown Outreach Ministry Fellowship Church has been birthed by God to extend the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Chinese people of Sunset Park, Brooklyn, then New York City and then to all the world.
Our meetings are open to all peoples who will join us in helping to accomplish this goal. Our desire is to reach, save, convert, teach and equip the Asian people to help reach their own nations and cultures, and to raise up indigenous ministers who will take the gospel back into China.
Although we understand the necessity for all men to be saved and come to a saving knowledge of Christ, the aim and primary focus of this Ministry is to impact the Chinese because of the enormity of the need and the lateness of the hour. We are also available for teaching and training seminars throughout the area, for the equipping of the saints.
