Patrick and Joanne Panettieri
Chinatown Outreach Ministry was birthed in 1997 in Brooklyn, NY. We began by teaching "Bible / ESL" (English as a Second Language) lessons in our home. Of the initial group 30% went on to become genuine Christians. Numerous others have received Christ from 1 to 2 years after our initial ministering to them. Since we began we have Pastored a Chinese Church, founded and directed an ESL school with 100’s of students, and ran a large after-school tutorial program and summer programs for kids.
We are currently moving much more into the apostolic area, ministering in our home church, with a vision of reaching hundreds of souls with the Gospel of the Kingdom. We distribute thousands of Chinese Bible tracts every year which are being eagerly taken. In 2006 we broadcasted a Saturday evening bi-lingual Bible study on New York City’s largest Chinese radio station. Our ministry has now reached the lives of untold thousands of people.
Patrick Panettieri
Patrick Panetttieri, "Mr. Pat", as many people call him, was ordianed into the ministry in 1999. He pastored a Chinese Church for over 5 years. He is also a certified ESL teacher who has taught English to over 1,000 Chinese people over the past 12 years. He has his Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Vision Christian University.
Pastor Pat left a successful career in the business field to persue a "calling from God" which has led them to New York City and the Chinese people. God has given them an enduring and deep love for these people and they have sacrificed their lives on their behalf.
Gifted by God as a music minister and worship leader, Pastor Pat uses this gift to "draw" people into the presence of God, where God's love can "touch" their hearts. God uses them to "manifest the Father's love" for the Chinese people in both music and the Word.
Pastor Pat's vision is to "gather" the people and let God build his church, a church filled with God's love that truly brings healing for the heart and hope for the soul, resulting in the abundant lift that Jesus Christ promised.
